Creamy Porridge

Start your day off right with this delicious quark-based porridge. A healthy breakfast is the key to wünderful day!

¼ cup steel cut oats
1 cup Wünder Plain or Vanilla Bean Coconut quark
¼ cup white rice (ideally arborio)
1 cup milk or nut-based beverage of your choice (coconut, almond, whole milk)
1 cup frozen wild blueberry (regular is fine, too)
1 Tbsp. ghee or butter or coconut oil, to your taste
⅓ cup Honey
Pinch of kosher salt

Combine rice, oats, oil or butter, salt, and milk in a medium-sized saucepan over medium-low heat. Once it starts to boil, reduce heat to a low boil. Cover and continue cooking for 25 minutes or until all grains achieve a creamy consistency.

While the porridge cooks, combine berries and honey in a small saucepan. Start with high heat and then reduce to low once they being to boil, all while continuously stirring the mixture and gently pressing the berries to express their juices. The whole process will take less than 10 minutes.

Add the quark into the porridge and spoon well until it looks irresistibly creamy. Pour the berry mixture over the porridge, let stand for a couple of minutes to absorb, & enjoy warm.
